Hilton Tokyo Odaiba Prepares for Growing MICE Demands with Large LED Screen

Hilton Tokyo Odaiba: The Future of MICE Events

Hilton Tokyo Odaiba is gearing up to capture the expected surge in international MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, and Exhibitions) demands. Positioned in Tokyo's vibrant Odaiba district, the hotel is making significant upgrades to enhance its offerings for world-class meetings and events.

Scheduled to open in March 2026, the part of this expansion includes the introduction of a massive LED screen in the ballroom known as Pegasus. Spanning 21.6 meters wide and 4.05 meters high (equivalent to an impressive 865 inches), this will be the largest permanent LED screen in any hotel across Japan. This state-of-the-art addition will allow for immersive experiences and effective information dissemination during international conferences, large conventions, and corporate events.

Creating A Theater Experience

The ballroom, which boasts an area of 1,200 square meters and a ceiling height of 8 meters, has been designed with the philosophy that "the venue should create memorable experiences for guests." With the new LED screen, the potential for this theatrical space will expand significantly, enabling full-screen displays and multi-content viewings. This modernization aligns with the evolving requirements of the next-generation MICE approach, catering to international meetings and hybrid events that seamlessly connect participants globally.

Key Features of the New LED Screen

1. Panoramic Displays for Large Events

The LED setup will include three linked panels to form a large display, allowing for stunning panoramic visuals that will captivate attendees' attention. This application is perfectly suited for grand events such as product launches, award ceremonies, and incentive parties.

2. High-Resolution Displays for Accurate Information Sharing

With a maximum resolution supporting 4K displays, even the most intricate graphs and data will be delivered with breathtaking clarity. This feature makes it ideal for settings like international conferences and academic symposiums where precise information sharing is crucial.

3. Facilitating Hybrid Events with Multiple Content Displays

The new system can support up to three simultaneous displays. Presenters can share live video, presentations, and remote speakers all at once, allowing for expanded global engagement and flexibility during events. Examples of applications include multinational panel discussions or global corporate town hall meetings.

Event Functionality Reimagined

Hilton Tokyo Odaiba boasts 22 types of event spaces ranging from the impressive Pegasus ballroom to smaller meeting rooms suitable for intimate gatherings and dining experiences. By upgrading the audiovisual technology and enhancing spatial design, the hotel is committed to providing invaluable experiences for both organizers and participants. The anticipated launch date for the LED screen will be March 9, 2026.
