HCLTech Reports Remarkable Growth with Key Contracts in 2025

In a stunning display of industry resilience, HCLTech, a prominent global technology leader, recently announced its financial results for the fourth quarter and full year ending March 31, 2025. This marks another exceptional year for HCLTech as it continues to outperform its competition, recording the fastest growth among its peers for the second consecutive year. With reported revenues totaling $13.84 billion, a 4.3% increase from the previous year, the company reflects its strong operational portfolio, notably, signing new contracts valued at $9.3 billion throughout the fiscal year.

HCLTech's forward outlook for fiscal year 2026 anticipates a year-on-year revenue growth rate between 2% and 5%, coupled with an EBIT margin of 18% to 19%. CEO C. Vijayakumar emphasized the importance of disciplined execution that has driven such growth. 'We achieved our revenue growth expectations for fiscal 2025, realizing a notable 4.7% increase on a constant currency basis, as well as an EBIT margin of 18.3%. In particular, the growth of HCLSoftware has accelerated to 3.5% in constant currency this year,' he shared.

The company's service revenue growth was notably impressive at 4.8% year-on-year in constant currency, with digital services soaring by 8.6%, now comprising 39% of HCLTech's total service revenue. Moreover, HCLSoftware recorded annual recurring revenues of $1.03 billion, reflecting a 1.8% increase. Industries leading the way in vertical growth were Telecommunications, Media, Publishing, and Entertainment sectors, showcasing a staggering 43.4% growth in constant currency. Retail and Consumer Packaged Goods followed with a robust growth of 10.7%, while Technology and Services exhibited a steady 6.7% growth.

Geographically, the Americas emerged as the leading region for HCLTech’s growth, marking a strong 5.3% increase in constant currency, followed by Europe at 3.5% and the Rest of the World at 4.7%.

Adding to its strong financial performance, HCLTech declared a dividend of ₹18 per share for the fourth quarter, totaling ₹60 per share for the fiscal year, indicative of its commitment to providing shareholder value.

Shiv Walia, HCLTech's CFO, pointed out that 'we recorded a 6.5% revenue increase in INR for fiscal year 2025, bringing our total revenues to ₹117.055 billion, and an EBIT of ₹21.42 billion, representing a 7% improvement. Our services saw a milestone achievement of reaching ₹105.398 billion, an increase of 6.6%, alongside a 10.8% rise in net profit, leading to an EPS of ₹64.09.'

HCLTech has solidified its position as a preferred partner for Fortune Global 2000 companies, showcasing its innovative solution portfolio. Noteworthy contracts in the quarter include a major engineering services agreement with a leading U.S. technology firm aimed at addressing rapidly growing AI-driven software and silicon vehicle segments. Additionally, HCLTech is assisting Western Union in transitioning to an AI-based operational platform and establishing a tech hub in Hyderabad, further demonstrating its capabilities. Carrix, the world’s largest independent marine and rail terminal operator, has also chosen HCLTech to enhance their global port operations with AI and AIoT engineering solutions.
