Under this initiative, Tokyo will support para-sports initiatives in the eSports realm. As part of the "Tokyo eSport Festival 2026" from January 9 to January 11, an exciting event is scheduled for January 10: the very first
Para eSports Exhibition Match featuring the popular fighting game,
Street Fighter 6.
This groundbreaking event will showcase an exhibition match between skilled para eSports players and general participants. Among the featured players are Jeni, a fighting gamer who utilizes a special controller operated with her chin, and NAOYA, a visually impaired gamer who employs sound accessibility features. They are ready to engage participants in an exhilarating match of
Street Fighter 6, allowing everyone—both with and without disabilities—to compete on equal footing.
The selection process for general participants to challenge these talented para eSports players has begun. Since November 6, interested individuals have had the chance to apply and join in this exciting battle. Those who are brave enough to face the para eSports champions are welcome to sign up for the opportunity to prove their skills.
On this day, special guest Yuri Kuramochi, a celebrated producer of the women’s eSports team G-STAR Gaming, will also be joining the exhibition, elevating the experience even further.

Jeni is a player with muscular dystrophy who has created a unique controller that she operates using her chin, combining it with buttons that can be activated with her hands. She participated in the globally recognized fighting game tournament
EVO 2024 in Las Vegas, achieving an impressive rank of 257 out of over 5,300 participants. Jeni's endeavors extend beyond participating, as she is involved in a wide array of events and projects in the eSports community.
NAOYA
NAOYA is a congenital blind gamer who achieved a remarkable milestone as the first fully blind player to reach the master rank in April 2025. He competes in open tournaments while also leading experience-based events and corporate training sessions, actively promoting blind eSports through various initiatives.
