Inception Fertility™ Appoints Vanessa Smith as President and Chief Operating Officer

In a significant move for the organization, Inception Fertility™, North America’s largest provider of fertility services, has announced the appointment of Vanessa Smith as its new President and Chief Operating Officer (COO). This leadership change is expected to elevate operational strategies across Inception's expanding network of fertility brand offerings, notably The Prelude Network®, which stands out as the fastest-growing network of fertility clinics in the region.

Vanessa Smith arrives at Inception with an impressive background that spans over three decades in the healthcare sector, where she has been instrumental in boosting operational standards and improving patient experiences. Her extensive experience is particularly relevant, as Inception aims to further its mission of delivering exceptional fertility care while navigating an increased demand for reproductive services across North America.

Prior to her new role at Inception, Smith held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Emerus. In this capacity, she was responsible for overseeing the operational functions of hospitals across a multi-state network, focusing on the development of service lines and core operational frameworks. Furthermore, during her 12-year tenure at United Surgical Partners International, Smith excelled in various roles, culminating in her position as Market President and Regional Vice President, where she managed ambulatory surgical centers and hospitals across multiple states.

In her new role, Smith is set to prioritize strategies that enhance patient satisfaction and operational efficiency at Inception. Educationally, Smith holds a Bachelor of Science in Business as well as a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration from Trinity University. Alongside her professional commitments, she enjoys family time in Houston, where she lives with her husband and two daughters.
