Announcement of the Construction Start for LOGI FLAG TECH Miyoshi II
Kazagaseki Capital Co., Ltd., based in Chiyoda, Tokyo, has officially announced the commencement of construction for the LOGI FLAG TECH Miyoshi II, a state-of-the-art frozen automated warehouse. This facility aims to address the persistent labor shortages in the logistics industry and improve the harsh working conditions often associated with frozen storage facilities. By utilizing automated racks, the warehouse will enable the automated handling of goods in and out of cold storage.
Features of LOGI FLAG TECH Miyoshi II
Strategically located about 1.3 km from the Kanetsu Expressway's Miyoshi Smart IC, the new facility boasts easy access to central Tokyo and is well-suited for wide-area deliveries thanks to its proximity to major expressways. This makes it an excellent logistics hub for the Tokyo metropolitan area. The building design includes a receiving area and refrigerated space (at +5°C) on the first floor, while the second floor utilizes a high ceiling of approximately 20.4 meters to accommodate frozen storage (with temperatures down to -25°C). The total storage capacity of the facility will reach 21,846 pallets, allowing for efficient utilization of space through high-density storage solutions.
To meet environmental standards set for 2030 regarding refrigerants, the warehouse plans to employ natural refrigerant cooling systems. Additionally, solar panels will be installed on the roof, promoting the use of renewable energy for power supply. This establishment is designed to be environmentally conscious and sustainable.
