Simcere Zaiming stands to gain up to $1.53 billion in total consideration, which includes an upfront payment of $75 million. Furthermore, the agreement allows for tiered royalties, potentially yielding a significant return based on future net sales of the product.

The Science Behind SIM0660


SIM0660 leverages Simcere Zaiming's proprietary T-cell engager poly-specific antibody technology. By integrating a CD3-engaging arm with binding regions designed to target three specific antigens, this tri-specific antibody aims to induce potent T-cell-mediated cytotoxicity while minimizing the side effects typically associated with cytokine release. This dual-targeting approach is particularly noteworthy as it may provide broader treatment coverage for various B-cell-mediated diseases, especially for patients who have not responded to existing CD20 or CD19 therapies.
