From March 2025, using a combination of automobile insurance claims data and extensive meteorological big data, SBI Insurance undertook a continuous effort to develop and refine its forecasting model. By evaluating daily weather information, it will be able to provide alerts via email to automobile insurance policyholders in areas where hail is predicted to occur.
Additionally, alongside the alert service, SBI Insurance has partnered with Rilo Club and AUTOLAB, providing custom-fit body covers at discounted rates specifically for its automobile insurance policyholders. This collaboration aims to foster an environment where customers can easily implement strategies to prevent damage, ensuring they can enjoy their car lives with confidence.
