On July 23, a unique event will unfold at the Fireking Cafe in Yoyogi Uehara, Tokyo. Renowned artist Ippei Hamada is set to host a talk show titled "Kimi ni Aeru Nante" (I Can't Believe I Can Meet You), celebrating the opening of his latest exhibition, "Dai Uchuu Hen" (The Universe Edition). The event promises an intimate dialogue with special guest Eriko Hashimoto, a talented musician and artist who designed the cover for Hamada's album, "Machi yo Machi yo."

The talk show will feature a relaxed, candid conversation between friends about the creative processes behind their works and the intersection of music and visual art. Hamada shares his journey of discovering art upon moving to Tokyo, reflecting on how these experiences have shaped him over the past six years. He expresses his gratitude for the connections he has made through art, stating, "For me, 'you' means the art and all the people I’ve met along the way. I believe these encounters were not mere coincidences but rather a series of necessary events that helped me grow."

During this exhibition, Hamada will showcase his largest pieces to date, a culmination of his artistic expression that he describes as a grand undertaking. He remarks that the title may sound exaggerated, but it encapsulates his feelings about this monumental exhibition.
