Holand Automotive Group Sells Ferrari Rancho Mirage to Lapis Automotive Group
Holand Automotive Group Announces Ferrari Rancho Mirage Sale
On December 18, 2025, Holand Automotive Group revealed the sale of its Ferrari Rancho Mirage dealership to Lapis Automotive Group, headed by Todd Blue. This significant transition comes after a detailed and collaborative process with Ferrari North America, which reflects the continued commitment to the long-term vision of the brand and operational excellence.
Todd Blue, previously the CEO of Indigo Auto Group, has garnered respect within the luxury car market, particularly in regions like Palm Springs and Coachella Valley. His extensive experience is viewed as a key asset to successfully leading Ferrari Rancho Mirage into the future.
Gad Bitton, President and CEO of Holand Automotive Group, stated, "After thorough consideration and with Ferrari's agreement, we came to the conclusion that the time is right for the business to transition to an owner with strong local focus and expertise. This decision reflects our responsibility to act in the best long-term interests of the brand as well as our strategic vision."
The local ownership model is seen as the most effective approach to ensure ongoing leadership and success in the highly seasonal market, according to the Holand Automotive Group. Although the dealership in Rancho Mirage is being sold, the group remains firmly committed to its California operations, continuing to own and operate Ferrari of South Bay in Torrance, which serves a broader market in Los Angeles.
Looking forward, Holand Automotive Group plans to evaluate further growth opportunities both in California and other significant metropolitan areas closely associated with the Ferrari brand. Gad Bitton reaffirmed the group's dedication, stating, “We remain deeply committed to the Ferrari brand and our long-term partnership.
