The gala included a heartfelt moment when Michael G. Devine received the prestigious Michael G. Devine Hall of Fame Award. This recognition celebrates his extraordinary legacy in the tech finance community. Devine is renowned for founding the CFO Awards nearly three decades ago, establishing a tradition that recognizes and celebrates the critical contributions of CFOs.
His career is marked by pivotal leadership roles, including serving as CFO at Secure Software, where he played a key role in shaping the company's strategic ambitions and successfully managing its integration post-acquisition. Additionally, he has been influential in guiding growth-stage companies and mentoring future CFOs, further solidifying his reputation as a vital contributor to Northern Virginia’s innovation ecosystem.
At the gala, the NVTC also presented the 2025 Class of Rising Stars, highlighting the emerging talents that will shape the future of tech finance.
