AAC Technologies Takes Center Stage at IAA Mobility

AAC Technologies made a noteworthy debut at IAA Mobility in Munich, embracing the theme "The Future of Sound in Motion." The event served as a platform for showcasing their pioneering capabilities in automotive acoustics alongside notable partners including PSS and First Light Auto Parts.

Since entering the automotive acoustics sector in 2018, AAC Technologies has gone through significant transformations, achieving vertical integration through strategic acquisitions. This has enabled the establishment of a comprehensive acoustic ecosystem, covering everything from sensing and processing to output. With a strong foundation in acoustics, AAC is now among the select few full-stack solution providers in the automotive industry, offering a blend of hardware, software, algorithms, and fine-tuning services.

At the exhibition, AAC Technologies presented its five core technology segments related to automotive acoustics. These efforts drew a large number of industry professionals, including representatives from prestigious global automakers such as Audi, BMW, and Mercedes-Benz. The booth became a hub of activity, where attendees engaged with AAC's team and explored the latest solutions. Many automakers expressed their interest in future collaborations, indicating a shared enthusiasm for the innovations showcased at the event.

AAC Technologies holds a distinguished position among the world's top ten suppliers of passenger car audio systems, uniquely representing China on this esteemed list. This reputation is backed by consistent investments in research and development, amounting to 7-10% of annual revenue, alongside a robust global network with R&D and production sites spanning 19 countries. With over 18,000 patent applications, AAC's commitment to innovation has consistently fostered technological advancement, earning the company recognition as one of the "Top 100 Global Innovators."

Among the highlights at the Munich exhibit was the luxury Zeekr 9X SUV, co-developed in partnership with British luxury audio brand Naim Audio. As a technical partner, AAC assisted Naim in creating an unmatched 9.2.4.8 multidimensional immersive sound system specifically for this vehicle. The setup consists of 32 speakers complemented by 8 seat shakers and features an industry-leading 40-channel independent amplifier, delivering a peak power output of an astounding 3868W. This premium system aims to provide a fully immersive auditory experience, allowing users to transition from traditional high-fidelity sound to an engaging 3D surround and even 4D immersion.

During the expo, AAC showcased its "Physical AI"-driven full-stack automotive acoustic technologies, illustrating real-world applications such as the Zeekr 9X. These demonstrations vividly highlight the sensory experience achieved through their innovations, under the slogan "AAC inside." With a refinement in customer profiling, AAC Technologies reported an impressive 13% annual increase in revenue from the automotive sector, amounting to RMB 1.74 billion in their interim report for 2025, marking it as a significant growth catalyst.

With the maturation of its integrated acoustic systems—encompassing expertise in both consumer electronics and automotive applications—AAC Technologies continues to render support to its subsidiaries, enhancing their expansion into overseas markets. This commitment is rooted in a mission to deliver drives and rides that are not only immersive but also safer, more human-centric, and intelligently designed for a modern experience.

The significant reflections from IAA Mobility confirm AAC Technologies' proactive role in transforming automotive acoustics, positioning themselves and their partners at the forefront of innovations in the industry as they look toward the future.
