Xiaomi Opens Its First Store in the Tokai Region with a Grand Opening Event

Xiaomi Store Opens in Nagoya

On July 18, 2026, Xiaomi Japan will officially launch its 10th location in Japan, the Xiaomi Store at Aeon Mall Nagoya Noritake Garden. This opening marks an important milestone as it introduces the Xiaomi brand to the Tokai region for the first time, successfully covering the three main commercial areas of Japan: the Tokyo metropolitan area, Kansai, and now Tokai.

This new store is conveniently located within walking distance from Nagoya Station, ensuring easy access for shoppers. The store aims to provide visitors with an immersive experience of Xiaomi's brand identity and product offerings which include over 300 items such as smartphones, tablets, and smart home devices.

The grand opening celebration will feature a ribbon-cutting ceremony to commemorate the occasion. Additionally, attendees will have the chance to win Xiaomi products in a free lottery draw. Special guest Yasuhiko Yamane, a well-known mobile phone expert and journalist residing in Hong Kong, will be present as a guest manager on that day. He is expected to provide valuable insights on product selection and usage, particularly regarding smartphones.

The Xiaomi Store has been expanding steadily in Japan. The first store opened in March 2025 at Aeon Mall Urawa-Misono in Saitama, followed by five locations in the greater Tokyo area. In March 2026, Xiaomi made its inaugural foray into the Kansai region with four stores now operating there. With the opening of the Nagoya store, Xiaomi will have established a comprehensive national presence across three significant commercial hubs in Japan.

Founded in April 2010, Xiaomi Corporation has rapidly grown into one of the world's leading consumer electronics companies, offering a wide range of products beyond smartphones, such as IoT devices and smart home solutions. Xiaomi Japan, the local subsidiary, has been actively expanding its product lineup since entering the market in December 2019, catering to both the SIM-free and carrier markets with a variety of flagship and entry-level models.

As an innovative company, Xiaomi aims to enhance users’ lives via cutting-edge technology at competitive prices. They focus on creating a strong ecosystem that integrates personal devices, smart home products, and electric vehicles, adhering to their vision of becoming a user-focused brand recognized for quality and innovation.

The Xiaomi brand is well-established globally, with its products available in over 100 countries and regions. The company has consistently ranked in the Fortune Global 500 list, highlighting its significant impact on the market. Xiaomi continues to lead in the consumer IoT sector, with its platform connecting over 1 billion smart devices (excluding smartphones, laptops, and tablets) by the end of 2025.

In conclusion, the Xiaomi Store at Aeon Mall Nagoya Noritake Garden represents not just another retail outlet, but a strategic expansion that underscores Xiaomi's commitment to accessibility and customer engagement throughout Japan. This new location not only enhances the shopping experience for tech enthusiasts but also serves as a vibrant hub for community interaction around the latest in smart technology.
