ATELIER MATCHA Unveils Exciting Summer Menus Featuring Uji Matcha and Seasonal Fruits

Exciting Summer Menus at ATELIER MATCHA

This year, ATELIER MATCHA, a casual matcha café resulting from a collaboration between TZEN Inc. and the renowned Uji tea dealer Yamasa Koyamaen, is set to launch a series of new and vibrant matcha menu items starting March 20. The theme, "Uji Matcha x Summer Fruits," incorporates colorful fruits such as melons, lychees, coconuts, and mangoes into delightful new drinks and desserts.

Delicious New Drinks

Among the refreshing new summer drinks is the MATCHA Honey Melon (¥1,080). This luxurious beverage combines the fresh taste of summer melons with matcha, featuring a unique melon yogurt shake topped with whipped cream and a drizzle of rich matcha sauce, finished with a sprinkle of crushed pistachios.

Another exciting addition is the MATCHA Choco Mint (¥1,080), which blends beloved chocolate mint ice cream with the refreshing essence of matcha. Served in a layered style, this shake is topped with whipped cream, matcha sauce, and colorful chocolate sprinkles to create a festive treat.

For coconut enthusiasts, the MATCHA Coconut Cloud (¥950) will be a hit, utilizing sweet coconut water combined with a carefully prepared matcha and a fluffy cold matcha whipped cream topping. This visually stunning drink is sure to be a summer favorite.

The MATCHA Lychee Guava Soda (¥950) adds a tropical twist with lychee and guava, presented with visually striking layers. With the addition of rosemary for garnish, it promises to transport drinkers straight to a refreshing summer getaway.

Tempting Desserts

For those with a sweet tooth, ATELIER MATCHA has introduced two luxurious dessert options: the MATCHA Fruit French Toast with Seasonal Fruits (¥1,600) and the MATCHA Mille-Feuille (¥980). The french toast boasts a rich brioche bread soaked in matcha custard, offering hearty flavors complemented by seasonal fruits. On the other hand, the mille-feuille delicately layers matcha whipped cream with matcha custard between handmade rice flour crepes, showcasing the essence of Uji matcha.

Additionally, the MATCHA Mango Panna Cotta (¥880) has been reimagined this year to pair vibrant mango with matcha, creating a refreshing dessert with tropical notes.

Diverse Food Offerings

The menu also features new savory dishes including MATCHA Hojicha Bolognese Udon (¥1,250) and the more portable Tsukiji Croissant Sandwich Nori-Tama (¥890). The latter pairs fluffy croissant bread with a hearty scrambled egg filling, upgraded with matcha whipped butter for an unexpected fusion of flavors.

In our Kamakura location, four additional items will be available, such as MATCHA Cherry Peach Soda (¥930) and MOCHI Sticks in Sakura Peach and Mango Cheese (both ¥810). These new offerings come in convenient to-go formats, making them perfect companions for summer strolls along the beach.
