The BMX Park and Flatground disciplines were hotly contested, showcasing the rising talent and established stars of the BMX world.

Returning to the iconic West Bund venue, FISE Shanghai presented ramps packed with challenging features including large box jumps, wall rides, and spine ramps, providing a setting for an exhilarating competition. The atmosphere was electric as participants vied for top scores against some of the best riders globally.

Mueller’s Stellar Performance

The spotlight was on Kim Lea Mueller, a 23-year-old rider from Remscheid, Germany. Following a crash on her first run, Mueller bounced back on her second attempt, showcasing her resilience and skill. Her performance included high-speed wall rides, a 360 air over the spine, and a seamless series of tricks culminating in a score of 87.60 points, which secured her a commendable second place finish.

Mueller also showcased her versatility by earning a third place in the Women’s Pro BMX Freestyle Spine Ramp event, with a solid score of 90.00 points. Her ability to execute technical tricks and maneuvers under pressure is a testament to her training and dedication as a three-time European champion.
