Power Metallic Mines Inc. (TSXV: PNPN) has made significant strides in their exploration efforts at the Nisk project in Canada, particularly within the Lion and Tiger zones, as recently announced on March 25, 2025. The company has successfully returned results from six drill holes from their 2024 fall drilling campaign. This includes four holes targeting various areas within the Lion zone and two that focused on the Tiger target.
Overview of Drilling Results
In the Lion zone, drilling holes PN-24-092 and PN-24-093 successfully reached the eastern edge of the interpreted plunge. Notably, the latter borehole provided the deepest assayed intersection recorded so far. The two holes confirmed the extent of the eastern plunge of the Lion Zone, offering valuable insights into the geology of the area. Assays from previous drill holes, including PN-25-096, indicated significant mineralization, including massive copper and nickel zones that are still awaiting results.
Additionally, drill holes PN-24-086 and PN-24-087 were intended to enhance the understanding of the near-surface extension of the interpreted deposit within the Lion zone. Both of these holes intersected the mineralized zone, revealing high Platinum Group Element (PGE) values, particularly a remarkable reading of 65.09 g/t Palladium (Pd) over a length of 1.55m in hole PN-24-086.
Utilization of Borehole EM Technology
Power Metallic has been utilizing Borehole Electromagnetic surveys (BHEM) as a key tool to discover additional mineralization. The interpretations of these geophysical results, alongside traditional ground and airborne electromagnetic surveys conducted by Hardrock Geophysics Inc., have been instrumental in identifying conductive features associated with sulphides. The BHEM results have consistently directed further drilling findings, enhancing the potential for discovering parallel sulphide zones adjacent to the Lion zone.

The significant finding from hole PN-24-093 also revealed a lengthy mineralized intersection of 31.05m, further illustrating the extensive mineral potential within these regions.
Exploration in the Tiger Zone
The Tiger zone presents exciting prospects as well. Drilling holes PN-24-090 and PN-24-094 were aimed at investigating a weak airborne EM anomaly located approximately 700 meters away from the Lion zone. Although hole PN-24-090 did not intersect the anticipated source, it did confirm several narrow bands of copper and platinum group minerals, indicating the presence of a mineralized structure. The subsequent hole, PN-24-094, successfully intersected narrow bands of massive nickel-copper sulphides, indicating considerable mineralization potential in this zone.
Further BHEM results from these areas have revealed off-hole conductors, suggesting a promising future for discovering additional sulphide concentrations. Although more drilling will be necessary to clarify the extent of the Tiger zone, early interpretations indicate that previous drill results in the Tiger area have a high likelihood of revealing valuable mineral deposits.
