Regal Rexnord Appoints Mark Klossner as EVP & President of Industrial Powertrain Solutions

Regal Rexnord Celebrates New Leadership Appointment

On June 1, 2026, Regal Rexnord Corporation, a notable player in the power transmission and control solutions market, announced a significant change in its leadership. Mark Klossner has been appointed as the new Executive Vice President and President of the Industrial Powertrain Solutions (IPS) division, effective immediately. This key appointment comes as Jerry Morton, the incumbent executive, prepares to retire after a remarkable 39-year career, including 11 years at Regal Rexnord.

Klossner’s rise to prominence within Regal Rexnord is indicative of the company's commitment to internal succession planning. He joined the corporation during the acquisition of Altra Industrial Motion Corporation in March 2023. His initial role was Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Couplings Division. Klossner quickly moved up the ranks, becoming Group President of both the Couplings and Gearing Divisions by June 2024, managing a substantial portfolio valued at approximately $1.4 billion across five business units.

Before his tenure at Regal Rexnord, Klossner amassed extensive experience at Altra Motion over a span of 19 years. He held leadership positions as President of Altra’s Gearing Division for six years and President of the Couplings Division for seven years. Mark holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, a Master of Engineering Management from Northwestern University's McCormick School of Engineering, and a Bachelor of Science in Materials Science and Engineering from Cornell University.

Louis Pinkham, CEO of Regal Rexnord, expressed confidence in Klossner’s capabilities, emphasizing his operational rigor, strategic vision, and industry expertise. Pinkham remarked, "Mark has demonstrated exceptional leadership and has significantly contributed to the growth of our couplings and gearing businesses. His stewardship is expected to propel the Industrial Powertrain Solutions division into a new phase of profitability and success."

Reflecting on his new role, Klossner stated, "I am honored to step into this position and am particularly excited about the opportunities ahead. The Industrial Powertrain Solutions division has a robust foundation, backed by unparalleled products and a broad market reach. I look forward to collaborating with our talented teams worldwide to enhance customer satisfaction and drive profitable growth."

As Jerry Morton transitions out of his role, he will still assist Regal Rexnord as Executive Vice President until his official retirement on December 31, 2026. Pinkham acknowledged Morton’s invaluable contributions, thanking him for his decades of leadership that laid the groundwork for the company’s long-term success.

Regal Rexnord itself comprises a diverse workforce of about 30,000 associates stationed globally, committed to delivering sustainable solutions that empower, transmit, and control motion. The company is engaged in the electric motor manufacturing and power transmission sector, providing components that are critical to various industrial applications. Their portfolio extends into multiple sectors, including automation, aerospace, food and beverages, and more, ensuring they stay at the forefront of market demands.

Through this leadership transition, Regal Rexnord aims to bolster its market position and achieve continued growth, underpinned by a strategic vision focused on innovation and operational excellence. The future looks bright for both Mark Klossner and Regal Rexnord as they embark on this new chapter together.
