Our Teen Years Exhibition: A Nostalgic Journey for Gen Z Women
Recently, the innovative exhibition titled 'Our Teen Years' (うちらって乙女展(笑)) has garnered immense popularity, particularly among Gen Z women in Osaka and Tokyo, attracting over 2,000 attendees in just a short span of time. Due to this overwhelming response, Laughgaki Co., Ltd. has announced plans to extend the exhibition to three additional cities: Nagoya, Ishikawa, and Hiroshima.
The Exhibition's Concept
This exhibition aims to evoke the playful and often embarrassing memories that many women have from their teenage years. It focuses on behaviors and actions that might seem a bit cringeworthy in hindsight but are relatable and humorous. For example, visitors can explore displays centered on themes such as practicing a “natural duck face” or pretending to be asleep during late-night phone calls with crushes. These light-hearted themes resonate powerfully with attendees, evoking laughter and recognition of shared experiences.
