Envision Unveils Integrated Energy Systems at Intersolar Europe 2026 for AI and Industry

Envision Unveils Cutting-Edge Energy Solutions at Intersolar Europe 2026

Munich, June 25, 2026 — Envision, a trailblazer in integrated energy solutions, has made a significant impact at Intersolar Europe 2026 by presenting state-of-the-art energy systems that cater to the increasing demand for clean and controllable power across various sectors, particularly in artificial intelligence and industrial applications.

During its European debut, Envision introduced an impressive portfolio that includes the AI Power System tailored for data centers leveraging artificial intelligence, alongside the Gen 8 Long Duration Energy System, boasting a capacity of 4.X MWh. This hybrid solution merges wind and solar energy sources with advanced energy storage capabilities, encompassing a proprietary solar inverter developed by Envision. What sets this presentation apart is Envision's holistic system approach that harmonizes battery cells, energy storage systems, power electronics, digital platforms, and real-time coordination to meet the evolving energy needs.

Envision’s solutions are anchored by three fundamental pillars: ensuring operational reliability for AI infrastructures, stabilizing power grids with a significant share of renewable energy, and accelerating decarbonization across industries. As Kevin Huang, Envision's Senior Vice President and Product Line Director for Energy Storage, noted, "The emergence of artificial intelligence and industrial growth increasingly hinges on the availability of dependable, cost-effective, and low-carbon energy. The next phase of the energy transition will involve not just the cost per watt-hour, but the overall competitiveness of the entire energy system. Our aim is to ensure that renewable energy is not only clean but also stable, controllable, and economically viable on a large scale."

AI Power System: A Solution for Modern Infrastructure

The AI Power System directly addresses the critical infrastructure challenge posed by the rapidly growing demand for computational power, which outpaces the availability of clean and affordable energy. This system is designed based on sophisticated AI physical models, coordinating energy production, network interaction, energy storage, and computational loads across three distinct layers. It integrates a hybrid system that employs wind and solar power with energy storage systems that connect directly to the distribution network.

To stabilize the grid, Envision has developed a containerized Solid State Transformer (SST) that converts input AC voltage from 10/13.8 kV to an output DC voltage of 800 V, achieving conversion efficiencies of up to 98.5%. This innovative transformer dramatically reduces copper consumption by as much as 80%. Envision’s energy storage solutions incorporate an 800 V DC framework that supports both backup power within a few hours and rapid energy displacement to swiftly address load fluctuations. The sodium-ion battery solution, designed by Envision, can charge and discharge in mere minutes, providing superior thermal stability, high performance, and long service life.

Together, these technologies empower AI-driven data centers to operate with enhanced efficiency and resilience, while maximizing the utilization of renewable energy sources. The AI Power System has already demonstrated significant potential in improving energy efficiency in computational systems, ensuring reliable renewable energy delivery, accelerating grid investment timelines, and optimizing existing network resources under various project conditions.

Envision’s AI Power System is already operational at their Chifeng Net-Zero industrial park, supporting a pioneering project in computational power coordination in collaboration with Tencent, a leading player in cloud and AI technologies. Furthermore, in Ulanqab, Envision is developing the Envision Galaxy Campus, a gigawatt-capacity AI data center powered by renewable energy, illustrating how AI infrastructure can be conceptualized from the ground up with a focus on clean, controllable energy.

Gen 8 Long Duration Energy System: A Stabilizing Force

Alongside its AI innovations, Envision unveiled its Gen 8 Long Duration Energy System, uniquely crafted for power grids with elevated levels of renewable energy incorporation. This system offers 4.X MWh capacity and is tailored to ensure stable energy supply. Built on Envision’s proprietary energy cells and SiC string PCS technology, the Gen 8 allows for 250% overload capacity for grid-forming applications, assuring consistent voltage source behavior during significant transients, which is critical for grid impact studies. With a storage duration of 8 to 16 hours and a round-trip efficiency of 91%, it's engineered for a 25-year operational life.

Designed to optimize project internal rates of return by 1% to 3% through higher system efficiency and compact installation, the Gen 8 provides measurement accuracy within 2% and operates at noise levels significantly lower than industry standards. With its robust design, it thrives in extreme temperatures and is equipped with optional corrosion protection, significantly reducing spatial requirements compared to conventional systems.

A Comprehensive Hybrid Approach

Envision combines wind-solar and energy storage systems to deliver clean, controllable energy to industrial consumers around the clock. The company showcased its revolutionary string inverter for grid-connected photovoltaic systems at Intersolar Europe, integrating real-time coordination with proprietary power electronics. This advancement promises to enhance system performance, reliability, and economic viability for projects throughout their lifecycle. Envision’s comprehensive approach encompasses forecasting, planning, dispatch, and operation, enabling clients to achieve optimized performance from project development to decades of operation.
