Techbridge's Strategic Leadership Shift: Radhika Subramanian at Helm as CEO

Techbridge's Leadership Evolution: A New Chapter Begins

In an impressive strategic move, Techbridge has announced the appointment of Radhika Subramanian as its new Interim Chief Executive Officer. This announcement comes with Clint Bailey transitioning to the role of Board Chair. With this change, Techbridge aims to fortify its mission-driven work in the technology sector, responding proactively to the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.

From CEO to Board Chair: Clint Bailey's Transition

Clint Bailey, who has successfully led Techbridge as CEO, will now focus his efforts on governance, board recruitment, and fundraising as Chair of the Board. Bailey expressed his enthusiasm about this transition, sharing:
"Moving into the Board Chair role allows me to focus on governance and external relationships that will fuel our next chapter... I’m genuinely excited about what comes next."

Bailey will now dedicate himself to strengthening external relationships crucial for continued momentum, while Subramanian takes the reins of daily operations at a pivotal time for the non-profit organization.

Welcoming Radhika Subramanian as CEO

Subramanian enters Techbridge bringing over 20 years of executive leadership experience in technology. Her impressive career includes roles such as Managing Director at Protiviti, where she spearheaded emerging business offerings and prioritized environmental, social, and governance (ESG) strategies. Also, she played a significant role at Slalom, emphasizing data analytics and digital strategies in diverse industries.

Before her joining at Techbridge, she founded two technology firms, one of which—Emcien Corporation—yielded more than $300 million in return on investment for a major airline, showcasing her capability to deliver substantial results. Recognizing her strong educational background, with a degree in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Tech, sets a robust foundation for her leadership at Techbridge.

A Unique Transition with Immediate Assessment

Several weeks before her official appointment, Subramanian conducted a thorough organizational review of Techbridge, collaborating with the leadership team to assess various components such as products, technology, finances, and overall market positioning. This prepared her to embark on her role with a clear understanding of the organization's landscape. Subramanian articulated her insights:
"Techbridge has built something worth fighting for—a legacy of 25 years, real products for nonprofits, and a dedicated team. My assessment confirmed that we need to focus on our core strengths and build AI-forward capabilities to meet nonprofits' needs. I'm honored to lead this organization through this next chapter."

Board's Strong Support for Transition

The leadership transition was unanimously endorsed by Techbridge’s Board, reflecting their commitment to maintaining continuity and thoughtful succession. With a new fiscal year on the horizon, the Board believes this decision positions Techbridge to strengthen its impact moving forward. Scott Geller, Techbridge founder and Board member, captured the essence of this leadership evolution:

"Techbridge is fundamentally a technology organization, and with the advent of AI posing unprecedented opportunities for nonprofits, our leadership becomes crucial. Radhika has shown she can build and scale real products, making her the right leader for this time. This isn’t a caretaker appointment but a strategic one that the Board fully backs."

Looking Ahead: Search for a Permanent CEO

The Board plans to formalize the search for a permanent CEO to be concluded in Q4 2026. Radhika's current mandate involves establishing a financially stable and focused organization for her successor. This transition not only aims at embracing innovation but is also a strategic move towards making Techbridge stronger and more impactful.
