New Initiative for Foreign Worker Recruitment
In response to Japan's growing labor shortage, Meisei Group has initiated a new project aimed at supporting the recruitment of foreign workers with N2-level Japanese proficiency. This program is set to begin in June 2025 and focuses on specifically sourcing candidates from Myanmar and Indonesia who are capable of effective communication in Japanese.
Project Highlights
High-Quality Japanese Language Education Before Entry
Candidates will undergo a comprehensive Japanese language training program, provided through a collaboration between Meisei Group's Japanese language school and partner sending organizations in Myanmar. This training will ensure that candidates are equipped with not only the grammatical and vocabulary skills necessary for N2 certification but also practical conversational abilities, which are crucial for adapting to workplace environments in Japan.
Specialized Training in Relevant Industries
Before their arrival in Japan, candidates will partake in practical training tailored to their respective fields such as nursing care, food service, and hospitality. Training will include cultural understanding and workplace etiquette to ensure that they are job-ready when they arrive. For the food service and hospitality sectors, training programs will be conducted in collaboration with local private universities, focusing on general hygiene management practices. In the nursing care sector, partnerships with local facilities will provide candidates with hands-on training experiences.
Enhanced Conversation Skills Post-Matching
Once candidates have received job offers, they will participate in a conversational skill enhancement program designed to meet the demands of their assigned workplaces. This initiative will focus on developing practical expressions and comprehension of workplace instructions, ensuring they can communicate effectively on the job.
Comprehensive Support After Arrival
Meisei Group will also provide ongoing support after the candidates arrive in Japan. This includes regular consultations, assistance with visa changes and renewals, and continuity of Japanese language courses, ensuring both the foreign workers and their employers receive full support during this transition.
Project Scheme and Vision
By introducing candidates who already possess high-level N2 Japanese language skills, the project aims to facilitate long-term retention within Japanese companies and contribute significantly to addressing the root cause of labor shortages.
