Tekscend Photomask Expands Production Capacity in Europe

In a significant move for semiconductor manufacturing, Tekscend Photomask, previously known as Toppan Photomask, has announced the installation of its state-of-the-art SLX1 Photomask Laser Writing System by Mycronic AB at its facility in Corbeil, France. This marks the first deployment of the SLX1 system in Europe, reinforcing Tekscend’s position as the world's largest photomask supplier.

Tekscend's strategic investment in this advanced technology underlines its commitment to strengthen the semiconductor ecosystem across Europe. The deployment of the SLX1 system is expected to enhance productivity, expand technological capabilities, and diversify the range of photomasks produced at the Corbeil site. This facility works closely with Tekscend's Advanced Mask Technology Center (AMTC) in Dresden, Germany, providing a comprehensive suite of photomask solutions from standard laser-printed masks to high-end eBeam technologies suitable for leading-edge nodes.
