Exciting Parent-Child Day at Wakayama City

Join us for a fantastic Parent-Child Day event in Wakayama City! On May 27, starting from 10 AM to 11:30 AM, parents and their children aged from birth to preschool age can come together at the Marco Home Central Community Center for an engaging day of fun-filled activities.

Event Highlights

This event is designed primarily for children aged 0 to preschool, along with their families. With no prior reservation required and no fees to participate, parents can bring along their little ones starting from as early as 2 months old. Everyone is welcome—dads, grandparents, and other family members can join in the fun, especially if staying in the area for family visits.

At the event, various engaging activities will be available. Parents can expect:
  • - Hand games and interactive play
  • - Storytelling sessions
  • - Simple toy-making workshops

Our dedicated staff will also be on hand to provide valuable parenting tips, support for socializing, and a platform for sharing parenting challenges and advice with other families. It's a great opportunity to connect with others in the community and create lasting friendships!

Location and Accessibility

The event will take place at the Marco Home Central Community Center. Participants arriving by car should use either the first or second parking lots provided. Please note that the exact location of the event may change, so it's wise to check for updates on the day if unsure.

In the case of severe weather, such as heavy rain or storm warnings being issued by 8:30 AM, the event will be canceled. In such instances, notifications will be sent out through the Wakayama City social media platforms (X, Instagram, LINE).

What to Bring

While no specific preparations are necessary, we encourage participants to bring:
  • - A bag for shoes
  • - Newspaper for crafts
