Stellar Health Elevates Falko Buttler as New Chief Technology Officer to Advance Healthcare Innovation

Stellar Health Appoints Falko Buttler as Chief Technology Officer

Stellar Health is making waves in the healthcare technology sector with the recent appointment of Falko Buttler as its Chief Technology Officer (CTO). This strategic decision underscores Stellar's commitment to enhancing value-based care delivery, which is crucial in today's evolving healthcare landscape.

Falko Buttler's Background

Falko Buttler has a robust background in healthcare technology, bringing over 20 years of rich experience to the table. Before joining Stellar, he served as the CTO at Lantern, a specialized care network. During his tenure there, Buttler led a large engineering team and successfully shifted it from an offshore model to a local engineering force, a change that played a significant role in achieving 40% year-over-year growth.

Buttler's expertise extends beyond Lantern; he was a founding member of the leadership team at PlushCare, where he played a pivotal role in scaling the company's revenue from $4 million to an impressive $125 million. Furthermore, during his time as Senior Vice President of Engineering at Accolade, Buttler oversaw an 80-person global organization and managed the integration of two distinct platforms in virtual primary care.

Stellar’s Vision and Goals

The addition of Buttler is poised to sharpen Stellar's focus on artificial intelligence (AI) and data-driven platform investments. For the over 20,000 healthcare providers and 2,200 medical practices leveraging Stellar's network, this means intelligent workflows will become more accessible. Activities such as automating appointment scheduling, facilitating valuable referrals to specialists, and minimizing administrative burdens that detract from patient care will become streamlined processes.

Michael Meng, CEO and Co-Founder of Stellar Health, elaborated on the appointment, emphasizing the need for quick and evident actions in value-based care.
