Huawei Digital Finance Promotes Smart Transformation at SFF 2025 for Global Financial Sector
Huawei's Vision at SFF 2025
The Singapore FinTech Festival 2025 (SFF 2025) set the stage for significant innovations in the financial sector, as Jason Cao, CEO of Huawei Digital Finance, delivered a compelling keynote titled "Beyond the Digital Realm to Finance with AI." In his address, he elaborated on Huawei's groundbreaking technologies designed to address the pressing challenges of AI adoption in finance. Jason highlighted the smart transformation efforts that Huawei has been spearheading, focusing on intelligent solutions that empower financial institutions worldwide.
Cao's insights revolved around the theme of hyper-personalization in the intelligent era. He stated, "The critical advancement in AI within finance lies in its deep integration into core operations and business scenarios. To gain a competitive advantage in the next decade, financial institutions must leverage AI to reshape their workflows." This marks an important shift from traditional methods where 80% of resources were focused on just 20% of key users, moving towards a model where each customer receives the full capabilities of a team through AI-powered super assistants.
Looking ahead, the financial services of the future will evolve from mere product recommendations directed at individuals to enabling personalized super assistants. This pivotal transformation will require financial institutions to adopt AI-driven structural changes across all aspects, including service models, collaboration frameworks, risk decision-making, and infrastructure.
Huawei is fully committed to catalyzing this shift by creating a four-layered systematic solution aimed at fostering intelligence across various scenarios. According to Cao, large institutions are developing agent matrices, equipping every role with AI assistants, while smaller and mid-sized institutions are targeting high-value scenarios such as loans, rapidly deploying agents to achieve intelligent operations. To date, Huawei has assisted global financial clients in deploying over 500 AI use cases across various functions such as office management, operations, marketing, risk management, and customer service, enhancing internal efficiencies and delivering added value to end users.
Continuing with its strategy, Huawei has established its intelligent computing platform as the core of its systematic solution, encompassing computing power, platforms, engineering, and scenario applications. The company has developed a top-tier computational performance platform to meet high concurrency and low latency requirements for AI inference. This robust foundation supports enterprise-wide AI-enabled data governance through a unified knowledge and data platform, integrated with financial agent platforms and engineering practices, thus forming a closed-loop cycle of comprehensive AI capabilities.
In the realm of intelligent mobile banking, Huawei has collaborated with a leading Chinese bank to innovate a next-generation smart mobile service architecture. This framework, built on intelligent computing infrastructure and AI platforms, harnesses a hierarchical multi-agent collaboration model, sustained memory storage, and end-to-end performance optimization across both hardware and software. Consequently, it achieved over 90% intent recognition accuracy and latency of just 1.2 seconds, allowing the bank to transition from passive response to proactive services.
Looking to the future, Huawei plans to enhance its advanced computing platform further, continuing to develop systematic AI expertise while fostering structured ecosystem growth and new co-creation models with customers and partners. These initiatives are intended to deepen customer engagement, improve risk management, and catalyze end-to-end business transformation, embedding AI applications focused on value within financial institutions to expedite effective AI implementation.
During the festival, Huawei also signed strategic partnerships with three RongHai program partners—Neuxnet, Speakly AI, and TrustDecision—alongside Saudi Arabia's leading financial institution, Atmaal. This partnership network under the RongHai program is expanding its reach, bringing in new members such as CMA, which provides stable payment solutions for central banks globally; Instadesk, which offers smart outbound calling and marketing solutions; and MagicEngine, specializing in model development and AI inference services for financial establishments.
Through the RongHai initiative, Huawei aims to develop a "cluster of six capabilities" to systematically build an AI ecosystem within financial production flows. This includes model development, agent engineering, industry knowledge bases, and scenario-based applications, optimizing AI deployment efficiency through end-to-end hardware and software synergy.
As the financial sector transitions from digitalization to intelligent transformation, Huawei reinforces its dedication to collaborating with customers and partners on innovative solutions that redefine financial workflows and enhance ecosystem development. This concerted effort will allow AI to evolve from mere technological advancements to significantly enhancing productivity, thus opening a new chapter in intelligent finance.
