Starting May 1, aficionados will have the opportunity to select their beloved scents from a selection of finalists in two major categories: Popular and Prestige. Each category showcases seven remarkable fragrances that have made their mark in the fragrance landscape over the past year.

This year, the stakes are high as the awards reflect the best of 2024's launched fragrances, which are vying for the esteemed title of the year's top fragrance as voted by consumers. The voting period extends until May 19. The winners will be announced at a star-studded ceremony in New York City on June 5th, where 1,000 guests from the fragrance community will gather to celebrate excellence in scent innovation.

The Consumer Choice Voting Process

Voting will take place digitally via a dedicated microsite (VOTE.FRAGRANCE.ORG) and will also support mobile participation through a special QR code. To ensure all votes are valid, participants must register their choices in both categories.

To be considered, fragrances had to launch and be available to consumers in the United States during the year 2024, ensuring voters are choosing from the freshest offerings in scent. The finalists are categorized based on their suggested retail price (SRP), with those priced over $100 entering the prestigious category, while offerings under $100 fall into the popular category.
