Supported by approximately €499,000 from the European Innovation Council's Pre-Accelerator, Alchemi® aims to forge connections between laboratory measurements, clinical data across multiple countries, and healthcare workflows to create a seamless and secure diagnostic experience.

What is Alchemi®?

Alchemi® is designed to unify various sources of data, ensuring interoperability among laboratory systems and healthcare records while adhering to global standards such as HL7 FHIR and SNOMED CT. This integration is pivotal as it will reduce the dependency on a single central testing facility, making the Enlighten® test more flexible and easier to incorporate into local care pathways.

Following the principles of flexibility and scalability, Alchemi® seeks to provide derived outputs that are trustworthy and clinician-friendly. By streamlining the analytical and machine learning workflows associated with cancer detection, this platform will generate reproducible and transparent results that can be traced back through the data lifecycle.

The Development Journey

Proteotype's development program for Alchemi® is set to commence on September 1, 2026, targeting a comprehensive integration of pseudonymised data generated from diverse laboratory environments and countries. This endeavor will establish the regulatory compliance necessary for data traceability while ensuring that clinicians can manage test orders, view results, and handle workflow management through a user-friendly portal.
