New Moonlight Hero 'The Rift of Waves Elvira' in Epic Seven

On July 17th, Smilegate Megaport announced an update for the mobile RPG Epic Seven, developed by SUPER CREATIVE, introducing the new Moonlight hero 'The Rift of Waves Elvira'. This character will play a key role in the 2026 Summer Season special substory titled 'Show Me to the Depths'. Elvira serves the king of shadow elves, 'Halseity', but her journey takes a sinister turn as she becomes ensnared in Halseity’s twisted schemes, eventually falling under the influence of a warped spirit.

'Elvira' is a ★5 Dark Element Mage hero, uniquely utilizing a state called 'Invasion' that activates at the beginning of battles. This ability significantly increases the accuracy of her skill effects, thereby amplifying her impact in combat.

Skill Breakdown

Elvira's skills are designed for high versatility and strategic gameplay. Her skill 2, 'Thirsting Affection', introduces the 'Invasion' status at the start of a battle. When she attacks, this skill allows her to penetrate enemy defenses, ensuring consistent damage output while negating critical and crash hits. Moreover, each time an ally uses a skill, there’s a chance for Elvira's action gauge to increase based on the number of debuffs on enemies, allowing for quicker turn rotations.

Skill 1, 'Cracked Slice', attacks while granting a high probability of sealing the enemy. When used during her turn, there’s also a chance to trigger an additional effect called 'Warped Strike'. On the other hand, skill 3, 'Cursed Wave', inflicts a curse on all enemies except for the target and, when under the 'Invasion' condition, the likelihood of the effect occurring is doubled. After awakening this skill, alongside inflicting the curse, Elvira's action gauge will see a substantial increase, positioning her for follow-up actions.

One noteworthy feature is that if an Elvira under the 'Invasion' state receives lethal damage, she will confer a 'Rush' effect to all allies before the 'Invasion' is lifted. The 'Rush' effect deals additional fixed damage during attacks, serving as a safety net even after Elvira's downfall, subsequently bolstering her team's damage output.
