As part of this initiative, the project aims to listen to the voices of children, the future bearers of our society, and incorporate their ideas into the ongoing urban development plans. This year, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government announced that they will once again award the
Tokyo Bay eSG Award as a special prize within the
Minecraft Cup, a popular game-based competition focusing on urban design. The award will honor contributions from the Tokyo block entries, specifically within the urban development category, which align with the vision of a sustainable future city.
Importance of the Minecraft Cup
The
Minecraft Cup is an educational contest organized by the Minecraft Cup Executive Committee, utilizing the educational version of Minecraft. It is designed for students from elementary to high school, and in its seventh iteration, the theme is centered around “resilience against disasters.” The application portal is open until Thursday, September 4th, encouraging young creators to submit projects that reflect their innovative thoughts on urban resilience.

Last year's highlight was the project titled **
