Stan Launches Launchpad: A Unique 14-Day Competition for Founders Aiming for a $100k Prize

Stan Launches Launchpad: A Unique Competition for Founders

In an innovative move to support the startup ecosystem, Stan recently announced the launch of Launchpad, a competitive program designed to help early-stage entrepreneurs turn their ideas into scalable businesses. This unique initiative is set to take place over 14 days, from October 4 to 19, 2026 at a private camp in the scenic Poconos, just a couple of hours from New York City.

What is Launchpad?

Launchpad aims to bring together 100 aspiring founders under one roof, where they will not only develop their companies but also share their journeys publicly through a documentary series. The program will feature rigorous masterclasses, mentorship from industry leaders, and various competitive elements that highlight the importance of building an audience alongside developing a product.

Participants will engage in a host of activities designed to enhance their entrepreneurial skills. They will have access to expert insights from notable figures such as Gary Vaynerchuk, Sophia Amoruso, Zach Yadegari, and Brandon Bryant. This invaluable mentorship is expected to guide participants as they navigate the challenges of starting their ventures.

Structure of the Program

Launchpad is meticulously designed to be an immersive experience. Founders will participate in focused activities, including immunity and elimination rounds, to intensify the competition. The finale will culminate in a Demo Day where each founder will present their startup to potential investors. At stake is a $100,000 prize, which could serve as a crucial boost for the winning entrepreneur.

Stan co-founders Vitalii Dodonov and John Hu emphasize the importance of building companies with a public focus. “Building is easy. Distribution is hard,” asserts Dodonov. He believes that the true challenge lies in reaching an audience, which is why Launchpad places such emphasis on sharing the development process.

Throughout the event, participants will utilize Stanley, a proprietary Personal Head of Content tool created by Stan, to document their daily activities, create engaging content, and foster a community around their projects. This aligns perfectly with Stan's philosophy that distribution is a fundamental skill for every entrepreneur.

Who Can Participate?

Launchpad is geared towards early-stage software and AI founders. Out of the initial applications, approximately 30 teams will be selected to make up the cohort of 100 founders. The selection process is open and applications can be submitted via launchpad.stan.com until September 25, 2026.

Conclusion

With Launchpad, Stan is taking significant strides to transform the entrepreneurial landscape. As John Hu succinctly puts it, “Launchpad is our turn to make that bet on a hundred other founders.” By creating such a platform, Stan not only invests in these budding entrepreneurs but also contributes to the growth of a vibrant startup community. As the program unfolds in October, it promises to reveal a wealth of stories that inspire and educate future generations of creators and innovators.
