This training was held simultaneously at two key locations: Cosmo Oil's Sakai Refinery and the Osaka office of Cosmo Oil Marketing.

The fundamental objective of this BCP (Business Continuity Plan) training was to develop a robust initial response framework in conditions forecasted to resemble real disaster situations. This exercise was particularly nuanced, as it was designed to simulate a scenario where the head office's operations would be temporarily incapacitated due to a significant earthquake. Participants focused on strengthening the collaboration of information flow from the temporary crisis management teams established at the participating sites, alongside strategizing for the restoration of main office functionalities.
