XCMG Machinery Expands European Presence
XCMG Machinery, a leader in the construction equipment sector, is taking bold steps to deepen its footprint in Europe. The company recently made headlines with significant investments in both France and Poland, aligning with its mission to enhance local operations and service offerings. This expansion is not just a business move, but also a commitment to sustainable industrial growth in the region.
On April 13, 2025, XCMG-Europa Sp. z o.o., its Polish subsidiary, celebrated a significant milestone in Kompin, Poland. Here, the company held a groundbreaking ceremony for a state-of-the-art assembly hall aimed at producing advanced horizontal directional drilling (HDD) rigs. This facility will be built to meet EU standards and represents a fusion of Polish engineering prowess with XCMG's manufacturing innovation. Notable attendees included former Polish President Bronisław Komorowski and XCMG Group President Yang Dongsheng, both of whom emphasized the project's role in elevating productivity and job creation.
As stated by Michał Myczkowski, President of XCMG-Europa, 'This investment not only solidifies Poland's status as a hub for high-end machinery but also enhances our capability to deliver tailored solutions to our European customers.' The new plant will specialize in state-of-the-art trenchless drilling equipment, a response to the increasing demand for sustainable infrastructure technologies across Europe.
Simultaneously, in France, XCMG joined forces with its official distributor, LABROSSE, for a successful open house event on April 14. The event showcased their expansion strategy through local acquisitions and improvements to service networks. Recently, LABROSSE acquired several key local rental service providers, including Barthélémy Location and E2M, with plans for five additional partnerships soon to follow. This strategic approach is designed to strengthen support for XCMG's twelve local models, including excavation equipment and aerial platforms.
Yang Dongsheng further highlighted XCMG's commitment to a European strategy focused on intelligent innovation, ecological transition, and service excellence. Upcoming initiatives include launching a European training center and a leasing subsidiary to equip customers with advanced skills and flexible financing options for sustained operational efficiency.
In addition to these developments, XCMG has formalized the creation of a subsidiary in France to better manage its diversified operations. French and Chinese teams will collaborate across various divisions, ensuring that the company can effectively address the unique market needs in Europe. Moreover, in Germany, XCMG has developed a comprehensive service center, training facilities, and a 5,000-square-meter spare parts storage hub.
By integrating local production in Poland with its enhanced distribution network in France, XCMG is setting a standard in both manufacturing excellence and customer-centered services. The company, which operates in 193 countries and leads six global R&D centers, continues to innovate by drawing on local resources and talents. This robust strategy promises to fortify XCMG's standing as a reliable partner in Europe's construction machinery market, catering to rising demands while staying attuned to sustainability efforts.
As XCMG moves forward, its strategic focus on localized production, strong partnerships, and dedicated service enhancements reflects a commitment not only to business growth but to the sustainable development of the European industry as a whole.
