Experience the Logistics and IT World with Family at Inagi City During Golden Week

This Golden Week, Pal System Federation is excited to announce a special project that will take place from April 29 to May 6, 2026, at their unique logistics and IT experience facility in Inagi City, Tokyo. Aimed at elementary school students and their parents, this work experience initiative will allow families to engage in the captivating world of logistics and discover the intricate systems behind home deliveries.

Free Participation and Gifts!

The program offers a completely free experience that lasts approximately one hour. Participants will have the opportunity to interact with real equipment used in Pal System’s logistics center, including sorting machines, and immerse themselves in original videos, informative panels, and tablets. Furthermore, as a delightful end to the experience, attendees will receive special gifts!

Participants will get insights into how Pal System delivers over 10 million items to 800,000 households weekly using sophisticated sorting equipment and information systems. Additionally, the program aims to increase awareness of the rapidly advancing digitalization in today’s society and the importance of sustainable systems in reducing food waste through pre-ordered deliveries from cooperatives.

Previous Success and Engagement

Since launching this initiative in 2023, over 1,700 individuals, including students from local primary and junior high schools, have participated in the work experience. Feedback from children has been overwhelmingly positive, with comments like, "Shopping on the tablet was fun!" and "I want to experience more!" Parents have also expressed their satisfaction, saying, "It was beneficial for adults too!" and "My child has become more interested in food!".
