The Richmond Hotel Asakusa is set to unveil its stunning renovation on December 1, 2025, designed to harmoniously combine the beauty of Japanese aesthetics with the comfort of Nordic design. Managed by RNTH Hotels, based in Setagaya, Tokyo, this hotel aims to deliver a rejuvenated stay experience that emphasizes culture, comfort, and culinary delights.
A Fresh and Elegant Atmosphere
The project's primary objective is to reflect the historical significance and craftsmanship that Asakusa is renowned for. The entire hotel, including guest rooms, lobby, and the breakfast restaurant, has been meticulously refurbished to create an inviting space that recalls Asakusa's cultural essence.
The lobby features artwork by the renowned artist Yamaguchi Keisuke, merging contemporary and traditional aesthetics. Inspired by Asakusa’s lighting culture, lantern grilles accentuate the ceiling, while materials like Komatsu stone and black finish create a rich environment that exudes a sense of tranquility and beauty.
