Key Highlights of the Tour

1. Hands-On Rice Harvesting Experience

This tour offers a unique opportunity for children to engage in traditional rice harvesting activities, from cutting to threshing the rice. Participants will work alongside local farmers to learn the craft of rice production first-hand. The joy of cutting through golden rice stalks is unexpectedly exhilarating for kids and allows them to forget about time while immersed in nature. This tour connects children to the origins of the food on their plates, enriching their understanding of the agricultural world.

2. Nature-Infused Activities

Participants will also enjoy a unique natural dyeing experience, utilizing vegetable peels to create one-of-a-kind designs on handkerchiefs. In addition, kids will engage in horseback riding experiences, leaving the stable to explore the fields on horseback, a delightful shift from the usual horse-riding sessions inside riding arenas.

3. Understanding Growth and the Importance of Agriculture

Kids who previously participated in the planting experience in May will appreciate seeing how their planted seedlings have grown. This continuity deepens their interest in food education and agriculture, instilling awareness of agricultural news and appreciation for the food they consume, as seen in the feedback from past participants.

Everyone who joins this tour will receive approximately 800g of the rice they harvested, which will be polished and sent home, making the experience even more memorable.
