Kanda Curry Grand Prix 2025: A Celebration of Flavor and Culinary Talent

The 13th Kanda Curry Grand Prix 2025 is set to enchant curry enthusiasts on November 1st and 2nd at Ogawa Square in Chiyoda, Tokyo. This eagerly awaited event is organized by the Kanda Curry Revitalization Committee, led by chairman Takuya Nakamata.

For this year's grand finale, twenty curry shops, determined by fan votes held until September 10th, will be coming together to showcase their best dishes. Each visitor will receive a voting ticket for every curry dish they taste, allowing them to cast their vote for their favorite shop. The awards for the Grand Prix, Runner-up, Third place, and the esteemed Kanda Curry Meister Prize will be presented based on the number of votes. Additionally, a special award evaluated by a panel of curry experts will also be bestowed upon a deserving shop.

Among this year’s esteemed judges is renowned violinist NAOTO, known for his love of curry, who will also participate in a talk show during the event. With over 400 participating curry shops in the Kanda area, the excitement builds as fans anticipate which shop will claim the Grand Prix title this year.
