Inland Empire Health Plan Recognized as a Caring Workplace
Inland Empire Health Plan (IEHP) proudly celebrates its inclusion in PEOPLE magazine's esteemed 2026 list of Companies That Care, securing the 100th position. This recognition is not only a testament to the organization’s unwavering commitment to nurturing a culture focused on care but also reflects its efforts in creating a work environment where team members feel both valued and supported. This year’s list, which includes renowned companies such as Delta Airlines, Adobe Systems, and Sephora, marks IEHP's third appearance since 2023, underscoring its lasting impact in the community.
IEHP's Chief Executive Officer, Jarrod McNaughton, articulated the significance of this honor, stating, "The fact that this is IEHP's third time being recognized on PEOPLE's Companies That Care List is not by chance. Our team members are engaged and passionate about the work they do for our members, providers, and community. This is more than a job for them; it’s a calling to always do the right thing."
The selection of the Companies That Care list is rooted in rigorous data collection from employee surveys as part of Great Place To Work certification—an accolade that IEHP has achieved for six consecutive years. Key factors evaluated in the survey include how fairly employees perceive their treatment within the organization, among others.
In engaging over 3,800 team members, 83% participated in this year’s survey, with an impressive 87% affirming that IEHP is a fantastic workplace. Supriya Sood, IEHP’s Chief People Officer, emphasized the organization’s people-first philosophy: "Our team members are at the heart of who we are and all that we do. Their dedication is pivotal in positively impacting our members, providers, and communities."
The competitive nature of the Companies That Care list means it reflects a comprehensive assessment of each nominated organization’s workplace experience. Honorees are recognized for their genuine commitment to supporting employees, families, and the greater community. PEOPLE's Editor in Chief, Charlotte Tiggs, celebrated the honorees for leading with purpose, stating, "We’re proud to celebrate companies that lead with purpose by supporting their employees, strengthening their communities, and driving positive change. Their commitment to positive impact aligns with PEOPLE's mission to share inspiring stories that drive meaningful conversations."
