CREDO Noda: A Major Logistics Facility Development in Chiba Prefecture

CREDO Noda: The Future of Logistics in Chiba

CREDO Asset Management Co., Ltd., headquartered in Minato Ward, Tokyo, has embarked on an ambitious project to develop a large-scale logistics facility known as "CREDO Noda," located along National Route 16 in Noda City, Chiba Prefecture. This facility is poised to become one of the most significant logistics hubs in the region, with construction scheduled to commence in May 2026 and completion slated for the end of January 2028.

Project Overview

"CREDO Noda" will feature a four-story structure with double ramps that facilitate seamless access across all levels, catering to the increasing demand for efficient logistics solutions. Positioned strategically along National Route 16, the facility offers convenient access to Tokyo and surrounding metropolitan areas. The property has been designed to accommodate truck traffic efficiently, with upgrades planned for nearby intersections to enable smooth entry and exit for vehicles coming from the Kashiwa and Kasukabe areas. Additionally, the facility is well-connected to the Joban Expressway via the Kashiwa Interchange and the Tohoku Expressway via the Wakuya Interchange, enhancing its appeal as a logistics center serving the greater Eastern Japan region.

As the supply of large multi-tenant logistics facilities in Chiba is projected to slow, CREDO Noda stands out as a rare offering that aligns with the robust demand for logistics solutions in the metropolitan area. The facility is designed to meet diverse tenant needs, ensuring it can adapt to the evolving landscape of logistics services.

Facility Features

CREDO Noda will include parking for 329 cars and waiting areas for 35 trucks, in addition to designated truck berthing areas with the provision for license plate registration. The first floor will feature a ceiling height of 6 meters, accommodating refrigeration and freezing requirements. The facility will also offer climate-controlled spaces on the second and third floors, while the fourth floor will boast a ceiling height of up to 6.9 meters, significantly improving storage efficiency. Recognizing the rising demand for smaller logistics spaces, the facility's layout will feature units starting at approximately 900 tsubo, providing flexible options for potential expansion.

From a transportation perspective, CREDO Noda will be easily accessible via public transit, with frequent bus services connecting to the Tobu Urban Park Line's Kawama Station, located just 2.7 kilometers away. To further enhance convenience for facility users, two employee cafeterias will be available, as well as designated rest areas for truck drivers, fostering a comfortable working environment.

Vision for the Future

CREDO Asset Management's CEO, Noritaka Shiota, expressed his enthusiasm regarding this major development: "We are thrilled to initiate the construction of our largest logistics facility to date. The demand for logistics spaces remains strong, and investor interest—both domestic and international—continues to be robust. However, in light of rising construction costs, we anticipate a reduction in new supply across the metropolitan area starting this year, particularly in 2027. While there have been concerns about temporary oversupply, we expect an improvement in the balance between supply and demand, making this facility's timing particularly significant."
