Fostering Occupational Awareness: DOMINISTA CHALLENGE for Middle School Students
On October 10, 2025, Kyoritsu Maintenance Co., Ltd., known for its business hotel brand Dormy Inn, will hold the DOMINISTA CHALLENGE vocational experience program for students of Furano East Junior High School at the La Vista Furano Hills hotel. This initiative aims to provide middle schoolers insights into the hotel industry and instill a sense of community and vocational appreciation.
What is DOMINISTA CHALLENGE?
Launched in 2019, the DOMINISTA CHALLENGE is a vocational experience program designed for middle and high school students. By engaging with hotel operations—from front desk management to cleaning and bed making—students gain first-hand experience of the hospitality sector. The program encourages them to connect with the people they serve and highlights the importance of contributing to others and working collaboratively. In the current era of globalization, where interaction with diverse cultures is common, this experience also serves as a practical application of multicultural coexistence.
To date, over 60 schools nationwide have participated in this program, with 21 schools from the northern regions like Hokkaido and Tohoku requesting these career education workshops.
