Hub International Strengthens Leadership with Sue Lee as New Investor Relations SVP

In a significant move to bolster its leadership team, Hub International Limited (HUB) has announced the appointment of Sue Lee as the new Senior Vice President of Investor Relations. This strategic hire is part of HUB's commitment to enhance its communication and relationship with the investment community. Lee's role will primarily serve as the bridge between HUB's executive leadership and its investors, helping to articulate the firm’s robust growth narrative and financial performance.

Sue Lee comes to HUB at a critical juncture in the company’s evolution. The appointment follows groundbreaking developments in HUB’s financial landscape, particularly the minority investment and valuation achievements noted in Q2 of 2025. Under the direction of President and CEO Marc Cohen, HUB has emerged as one of the best-performing private equity-owned brokerages in history and presently ranks among the world’s largest private equity-owned financial institutions. This momentum underscores HUB's strategic objective to solidify its capital structure and governance while pursuing aggressive growth initiatives.

"Sue's appointment marks a vital step in our ability to communicate the compelling growth story and strong performance of HUB to a broader audience," Cohen stated. "Our company has consistently turned in profitable results since transitioning to private equity ownership and continues to demonstrate remarkable returns through adept management of various exit strategies related to our portfolio."

In her new position, Lee is tasked with leading a variety of investor relations programs. These will encompass earnings communications, investor presentations, and initiatives aimed at stakeholder engagement. Her role will be integral in ensuring clear, consistent communication regarding HUB's financial performance and strategic direction to analysts, institutional investors, and significant stakeholders within the investment community.

Joe Hyde, HUB's Chief Financial Officer, expressed enthusiasm for Lee’s addition to the finance leadership team, noting her extensive background in investor relations, capital markets, and strategic communications. He emphasized that her experience will be essential for enhancing investor engagement strategies during this dynamic phase for HUB. With a deep background in the insurance, retirement, and private wealth sectors, as well as capital advisory and mergers & acquisitions, Lee is viewed as the ideal candidate to narrate HUB's story to the investment community effectively.

Prior to joining HUB, Sue Lee held senior investor relations positions at several prominent global insurance and financial brokerage firms. Her career includes pivotal roles in managing shareholder relationships and liaising with sell-side analysts. Additionally, Lee has experience as an equity research associate at Barclays, focusing on the property casualty and life insurance domains, and began her professional journey as an investment banking analyst at BMO Capital Markets.

Lee completed her academic training with a Bachelor’s degree from New York University's Stern School of Business and will be based in New York as she undertakes her responsibilities at HUB International.
