AlphaESS Unveils Expanded Energy Storage Ecosystem at Intersolar Europe 2026

AlphaESS has concluded a significant chapter at Intersolar Europe 2026, solidifying its vision for energy storage solutions across Europe. With over a decade of localization experience, the company is shifting from solely hardware manufacturing towards a more integrated approach that includes software, connectivity, and value-added ecosystem services. This strategic move highlights AlphaESS’s ambition to adapt to the evolving energy market and meet diverse customer needs.

During the event held in Munich, AlphaESS captured the attention of attendees with several key products such as the STORION-LC-TB150 system designed for commercial and industrial applications, the Aster 6260 suitable for large-scale energy facilities, and the AlphaConnect platform that connects batteries, partners, and energy markets seamlessly.

The STORION-LC-TB150 stood out as a robust solution tailored for everyday operations in factories, offices, and commercial buildings. This all-in-one, liquid-cooled system boasts a power capacity of 150 kW and energy storage of 313 kWh. Maintaining a noise level of approximately 60 dB(A)—similar to normal conversation volume—this design supports installations close to active workspaces without causing disturbances, thereby enhancing user experience.

With an eye on safety, the system meets UL 9540A fire safety standards and is engineered for longevity, supporting up to 12,000 cycles. This demonstrates AlphaESS's commitment to providing reliable, safe, and efficient energy storage solutions.

On the utility side, AlphaESS leveraged its extensive experience to drive product development, using insights gained from its more than ten years of operations in Europe. Projects like the 320 MWh initiative in Chvaletice and Kladno have showcased the company’s capability in delivering dependable energy solutions. This expertise played a pivotal role in developing the Aster 6260, a high-density deployment platform with a power rating of 3.13 MW and energy capacity of 6.26 MWh. Integrated safety, remote commissioning, and AI-driven operations make this system a leading choice in the energy storage market.

Moreover, the AlphaConnect software layer represents the next evolution in creating value for energy users. It serves as a connectivity framework linking assets with energy markets and provides open application programming interfaces (APIs) for virtual power plant operators, energy aggregators, and third-party systems, facilitating interoperability among devices and applications. In the UK, AlphaESS has successfully integrated with Octopus Energy, a prominent platform for smart energy management, enhancing intelligent charging and discharging scheduling while allowing for remote asset management.

With connections to over 100 energy partners and platforms across 12 countries, AlphaConnect empowers users to maximize the benefits of software, energy tariffs, and market opportunities while aiding partners with seamless integration.

In addition to product innovations, AlphaESS reinforced its broader message for Europe through the opening of a new branch in Spain, expansions in the Benelux region, and progress in Czech project realizations. This highlights its dedication to localization, delivery capabilities, and a long-term commitment to transitioning Europe to clean energy.

Founded in 2012, AlphaESS is a leading global provider of energy storage solutions and services, catering to residential, commercial, industrial, and large-scale engineering projects. With over 40 subsidiaries offering local services and more than 300,000 systems being operated worldwide in over 130 countries, AlphaESS is empowering millions with reliable, affordable, and clean energy solutions.
