Tsujii Qunue Unveils 2nd EP 'Kisuiiki'

Emerging solo artist Tsujii Qunue has made waves in the music scene by winning the audition 'Deren no!? Summer Sonic!?' and earning a spot at SONICMANIA in August 2025. Today marks a significant milestone for her as she releases her highly anticipated second EP titled 'Kisuiiki' (pronounced: kisuiiki).

This new EP, 'Kisuiiki', features a diverse array of six tracks, showcasing Qunue's eclectic musical style. Included in this collection are already released singles like 'Pulse Wave' and '27 Club', along with the recently launched track 'Okane ga Nai kara' (I Have No Money), and a reimagined version of 'Last Summer Bye-bye'. The EP beautifully blends elements of electronic, rock, and pop, establishing a sound that is distinctly her own.

One of the most exciting aspects of this release is the upcoming music video for the lead track 'Nande'. Scheduled to drop on July 17, 2026, at 21:00, this song encapsulates the feeling of questioning life less as one grows older—a sentiment many can relate to. The production employs a deliberately ambiguous sound that evokes the innocent curiosity of childhood, reflecting a time when everything was not fully understood. The accompanying music video employs low-polygon CGI animation techniques, resonating with the track’s theme of capturing the hazy memories and feelings from early life.

In addition to the EP release and music video, Qunue has announced a self-produced event titled 'Sen'i-tai' (Transition Zone) at Ebisu KATA (LIQUIDROOM 2F) on August 23, 2026. This will be the third installment of the event series, following a successful show in April of this year. Qunue will be joined by guest acts HUGEN and Plan2+, promising an exciting lineup.
