The Durham Region is set to display its formidable capabilities in research and development (R&D) at the highly anticipated Hannover Messe 2025. At Hannover Messe, the region will spotlight its achievements in research partnerships through the innovative Arrow Project. This initiative, spearheaded by the Automotive Parts Manufacturers' Association (APMA), represents Canada’s first fully connected zero-emission vehicle prototype. Developed and manufactured within Durham, it exemplifies what can be achieved when industry leaders, researchers, and post-secondary partners unite with a shared vision. Flavio Volpe, President of APMA, remarked, “Together, we are not just building vehicles; we are shaping the future of transportation.”
