The Durham Region is set to display its formidable capabilities in research and development (R&D) at the highly anticipated Hannover Messe 2025. This initiative, spearheaded by the Automotive Parts Manufacturers' Association (APMA), represents Canada’s first fully connected zero-emission vehicle prototype. Developed and manufactured within Durham, it exemplifies what can be achieved when industry leaders, researchers, and post-secondary partners unite with a shared vision. Flavio Volpe, President of APMA, remarked, “Together, we are not just building vehicles; we are shaping the future of transportation.”
