New Cocktail Collection at The Westin Tokyo Inspired by The SG Club

The Westin Tokyo Unveils "Escalier Signature Cocktails"

The Westin Tokyo, a wellness hotel located in the vibrant city of Meguro, has exciting news for cocktail enthusiasts. From October 10, 2025, the hotel's elegant Sky Bar, Escalier, will present a refreshed cocktail menu known as the "Escalier Signature Cocktails". This collection is inspired by the globally renowned bar, The SG Club, celebrated for its innovative cocktails and recognized by The World’s 50 Best Bars awards.

An Intersection of Time and Culture

The Escalier Signature Cocktails series features a total of nine unique drinks, including two new alcoholic and two non-alcoholic options. Each cocktail tells a story that transcends time and place, reflecting the rich cultural tapestry of different cities around the world during the 1920s, a time when the Ebisu Beer shone brightly in Tokyo.

As guests indulge, they will be transported to an era marked by the pursuit of freedom during Prohibition in America, the artistic quest in Paris, and the modernity of Japan's Taisho period. Escalier's refined ambiance, inspired by a smokehouse, provides the perfect backdrop against the stunning skyline of Tokyo.

Noteworthy Cocktails on the Menu

1. Giggle Michelada: A creative take on the Mexican beer cocktail, this drink combines Patrón Silver, passion fruit, guava, jalapeño, savory rum, and concentrated beer. It's crafted to evoke the clandestine smiles shared during the Prohibition era.

2. Bohemian’s Reviver: Featuring Bombay Sapphire, cognac, orange, raspberry, cacao, and absinthe, this cocktail captures the essence of the bohemian artists of Belle Époque Paris, giving a modern twist to their beloved absinthe.

3. Pina Colada 2.0: An upgraded rendition of the classic Pina Colada, this cocktail combines The SG Shochu IMO with coconut and pineapple for a fruity, elegant taste.

4. Fizzed Apples: A refreshing cocktail with layers of spiced apple and sparkling notes, made with Calvados, spiced apple, apple tea, cider, and tonic, bringing joy with every sip.

5. Smoke and Mirrors: Incorporating Laphroaig 10 Year, KOKUTO DE LEQUIO, umeshu, and koji, this smoky cocktail evokes the bar's concept of smoke, delivering a deep and flavorsome experience that intrigues the senses.

For non-alcoholic options:

1. The Gold Rush: A tribute to Charlie Chaplin’s silent film, this drink blends mango, sweet osmanthus, ginger, tomato, Timut pepper, and soda to reflect the wild dreams of those in search of gold in 1925.

2. Moga’s Milk Shake: Inspired by the Modern Girl movement in Japan’s Taisho era, this creamy shake features sweet sake, peach, pear, Calpis, and vanilla ice cream, embodying the spirit of the times.

3. Jasmine Scent-sation: A visually striking mocktail featuring dragon fruit, lychee, jasmine, and rose, offering a symphony of flavors that dance across the palate.

4. Meshes of the Afternoon: Drawing inspiration from Maya Deren's film, this calming concoction of chamomile, hibiscus, and lemon balm invites guests to relish a serene moment with its caffeine-free ingredients.
