Furniture China 2025: BEYOND NEXT
From September 9 to 13, 2025, Shanghai becomes the epicenter of the furniture industry as it hosts the much-anticipated Furniture China 2025 and Maison Shanghai. Co-organized by the China National Furniture Association (CNFA) and Shanghai Sinoexpo Informa Markets, this year's event celebrates its 30th anniversary while focusing on the theme "BEYOND NEXT." The exhibition aims to accelerate the transformation of innovative solutions in design, production, and sustainability, while fostering global trade collaboration.
Over 3,500 exhibitors will showcase their offerings across more than 350,000 square meters at two major venues: the SWEECC and SNIEC in Pudong. The diverse segments include modern furniture, upholstered pieces, mattresses, office furnishings, outdoor furniture, tables, chairs, materials, and equipment. To facilitate effective connections, these exhibits will be meticulously categorized, ensuring that international distributors and industry professionals can easily access the products they seek.
A Focus on Sustainability and Design
In an exciting debut, the Furniture China 2025 event will feature a new garden furniture pavilion within Hall E8B, dedicated to stylish and durable outdoor furniture innovations. Additionally, a new high-end custom furniture hall (E5) will showcase space solutions that adhere to sustainability requirements for offices, retail settings, and cultural venues. This careful organization mirrors the industry's shift towards environmentally responsible practices.
Maison Shanghai is set to redefine excellence in home interiors, showcasing over 800 brands in a restructured format that spans the entirety of the Design Week and Design Fair (September 9-12 at SWEECC). Under the motto "Value in Design," attendees can expect to see interior fittings, lifestyle exhibits, and art-inspired furniture projects across themed pavilions. A unique direct sales space (H4) will create networking opportunities between over 200 OEM/ODM producers and designers.
The event will also host more than 100 forums and activities, including design competitions like the Gold Idea Design Award and events that facilitate in-depth discussions at the Maison Design Conference. These platforms encourage dialogue among industry leaders, effectively pushing the boundaries of interior design solutions forward.
Innovation Meets Digital Integration
Digital transformation plays a crucial role this year, with the introduction of the DTS platform and the official DTS FurnitureChina app. These tools enhance B2B relationships continuously, bridging the gap between digital and physical commerce.
