Luke Gustafson to Lead PRAXIS S-10 as Chief Elevation Officer
PRAXIS S-10 is thrilled to announce that Luke Gustafson has been appointed as the new Chief Elevation Officer. This strategic move aims to strengthen the organization’s commitment to empowering contractors by elevating their capabilities and professional growth. Luke Gustafson comes with an impressive 30 years of leadership experience in both the retail and home services sectors. His vast expertise in driving growth and fostering a culture of excellence makes him a perfect fit for this pivotal role at PRAXIS S-10.
In his new position, Luke will collaborate closely with Terry Nicholson, who serves as the Chief Success Officer. Together, they aim to fulfill PRAXIS S-10's mission of creating the world's premier contractors. Before joining PRAXIS S-10, Luke held the position of Chief Operating Officer at The Blue Cardinal Group, where he led significant revenue growth from $25 million to $76 million in a short span of less than three years. This accomplishment highlights his ability to transform organizational performance and revenue dynamics.
Luke's professional journey began in a rather humble setting, riding alongside his father, an electrician, during weekends. These formative experiences instilled in him the values of commitment, hard work, and integrity. Now, as a husband to Ashley and father to daughters Breese and Brylee, Luke balances his professional life with family commitment. He is also recognized for his exceptional leadership skills in the grocery sector, where he oversaw 126 locations and managed over 6,500 team members, driving revenues to surpass the billion-dollar mark.
In the home services arena, Luke co-founded McWilliams Son Heating, Cooling and Plumbing with Trey McWilliams, propelling it to become one of the fastest-growing companies in the industry, expanding to eight locations almost overnight. Known for his high-energy and mission-driven approach, Luke has not only succeeded in corporate settings but has also dedicated time to various leadership roles on business advisory councils, showcasing his commitment to the broader business community.
At PRAXIS S-10, Luke brings not just his operational skills but a vision to elevate home service businesses and their leaders. "It’s more than just achieving business success," he shares. "It’s about enriching the lives of our clients, team members, shareholders, vendors, and the communities we serve. Our commitment lies in empowering our contractor members with the strategies and mentorship they need for sustained growth."
Terry Nicholson remarked on the appointment, stating, "Luke brings a wealth of knowledge combined with an unwavering passion for serving others. His journey has equipped him with a profound understanding of the challenges contractors face, along with the strategies needed to overcome them. His leadership enhances our organization's strength, ensuring that PRAXIS S-10 remains the leading strategic mentoring entity for contractors nationwide."
Reflecting on his new role, Luke expressed his honor in joining PRAXIS S-10, noting the influence of giants like Jim Abrams, Terry Nicholson, and Jimmy Hiller in shaping the organization. He sees this opportunity as a platform to contribute to a transformative vision that has a tangible impact on people’s lives. As the home services landscape continues to evolve, PRAXIS S-10 under Luke's guidance is poised to reaffirm its position as a crucial ally for contractors striving for lasting success and significance.
Overall, the future of PRAXIS S-10 looks promising with Luke at the helm, ready to steer the organization towards new heights of achievement and empowerment for its members.
