Asia's 50 Best Bars 2025 Reveals Extended 51-100 List



As the anticipation builds leading up to the live awards ceremony in Macau on July 15, 2025, Asia's 50 Best Bars has released its extended list of bars ranked from 51 to 100, showcasing an exciting array of establishments redefining cocktail culture across the continent. Sponsored by Perrier, this fifth edition celebrates 14 new entries from 23 different destinations, emphasizing the dynamic and evolving bar landscape in Asia.

Highlights of the Extended List


The latest ranking is determined through the votes of Asia's 50 Best Bars Academy, a diverse group of over 300 industry experts, including bartenders, journalists, and cocktail enthusiasts. This year, six bars from Singapore made the cut, with the neighborhood bar Side Door leading the pack at position 53. This newly welcomed establishment, run by renowned duo Bannie Kang and Tryson Quek, creates a refreshing mixology experience that blends urban vibes with culinary excellence.

Singapore continues to dominate with other notable entries like Sago House at No.56, Origin Bar at No.60, Night Hawk at No.77, and Employees Only at No.89, culminating with Fura at No.95.

From Seoul, Pine Co clinches position 52, while Soko follows closely at No.54. Maintaining its reputation, Gong Gan ascends an impressive 26 ranks to secure No.63. Meanwhile, Tokyo’s representation remains robust with significant entries such as Gold Bar at No.67 and the opulent Tokyo Confidential at No.70.

In a commendable expansion, Shenzhen, Phnom Penh, and Kaohsiung see their first-ever debuts on the list. Obsidian Bar from Shenzhen takes a strong position at No.51, defined by its vintage whisky and craft cocktails served in a dramatic, three-story setting. The Cambodian capital's Sora, located at 37 stories high, provides breathtaking views and comes in at No.65, while Kaohsiung’s Maltail focuses on single malt whisky cocktails at No.75.

Overall, the 51-100 list reflects a mighty representation from cities known for their unique drinking experiences. For instance, Bangkok contributes with Mahaniyom Cocktail Bar at No.71 and Firefly at No.82, alongside newcomers like Messenger Service making its first appearance at No.90. Similarly, Hanoi's Workshop14 at No.83 introduces a blend of innovation and tradition to the cocktail scene, while The Hudson Rooms and The Haflington claim spots at No.86 and No.87, respectively.

On the other hand, cities such as Jakarta, Goa, and Osaka are not left behind. The Golden Tooth in Jakarta, designed to evoke a Brooklyn loft atmosphere, enters the list at No.98. Not to be outdone, Goa's Bar Outrigger captures the attention of cocktail lovers, instantly ranking as No.55 and renowned for its rum-centric offerings.
