This year's festival will witness an unprecedented premiere rate, with over 1,820 films scheduled for their world premiere. More than 520 films will have their international premiere at SIFF, marking a significant milestone in the festival's history. The percentage of premieres has soared above 80%, making it a must-attend event for cinephiles and industry professionals alike.

International Jury and Special Events



An esteemed international jury panel consisting of 21 members from various countries will judge the films, with Italian director Giuseppe Tornatore serving as this year's jury president. Tickets for the 27th SIFF will go on sale starting noon on June 5, and the festival will transition directly into the Shanghai TV Festival, occurring from June 23 to June 27.
