Summer Camp in Japan 2026, a program designed to foster cultural exchange among students from around the world. These sessions will be held in April to provide families with essential details about this unique opportunity for immersive learning.
9 Days of Global Encounters in Japan
Summer Camp in Japan 2026 will take place from July 18 to July 26, featuring 8 nights and 9 days of engaging activities based in the picturesque Miura coast area in Kanagawa Prefecture. The camp aims to bring together participants from various countries, including the UK, Hawaii, Singapore, Taiwan, South Korea, Malaysia, Nepal, the Philippines, Cambodia, and Uzbekistan. English will serve as the common language, allowing diverse peers to engage in collaborative living and exploration.
Culture Meets Exploration and International Exchange
The program emphasizes exploration through small group work around Japanese cultural themes such as taiko drumming, calligraphy, tea ceremony, and kintsugi (the art of repairing pottery with gold). Participants will receive direct instruction from experts in each field, transforming mere experiences into deep learning about thought and expression. This immersive environment will help participants to encounter diverse values and perspectives, promoting understanding and global awareness.
