Lintec Achieves Digital Transformation Recognition from METI

Lintec has proudly announced its recent achievement of obtaining the DX (Digital Transformation) certification, a recognition provided by Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI). This certification underlines the company's ongoing commitment to leveraging technology in reshaping its business processes to enhance efficiency and foster innovation. As part of its LINTEC SUSTAINABILITY VISION 2030 (LSV 2030) long-term vision, Lintec emphasizes its goal of fortifying its corporate structure through innovation. This initiative signifies a proactive approach towards transforming operations across the board through comprehensive digital strategies.

Understanding the DX Certification Program

The DX certification program, which is based on the Act on the Promotion of Information Processing, designates organizations that are aligned with the fundamental principles of the Digital Governance Code as recognized by the government. Achieving this certification illustrates Lintec's dedication to meeting national standards for digital governance, thereby establishing trust with partners, consumers, and stakeholders.

Launch of LDX 2030 Initiative

In October 2022, Lintec launched the LDX 2030 initiative, encapsulating the core concept that “the maximization of human potential is supported by DX as we create the future.” The initiative outlines seven transformational themes aimed at enhancing various facets of the organization. Each of these themes is meticulously addressed through actionable plans developed within dedicated committees. A transition to the implementation stage is scheduled for April 2024, during which operational reforms aligned with these plans will actively unfold. Here are the seven transformational themes of LDX 2030:

1. Enhancing Internal Communications: Cultivating a culture of transformation by invigorating company-wide communication.
2. Developing Resilient Talent and Organizations: Fostering digital talents to strengthen the workforce.
3. Proactive Use of Digital Technologies: Implementing Business Process Reengineering (BPR) through active digital tool usage.
4. Digitizing Intuition and Experience: Establishing systems that facilitate data-driven decision-making.
5. Sales DX Enhancement: Improving efficiency in sales and developing products based on customer needs.
6. Proactive Information Dissemination: Committing to transparent communications externally.
7. Optimization of Domestic and International Systems: Reevaluating and optimizing existing systems.

Note: BPR refers to the fundamental re-evaluation of business processes aiming for a complete overhaul of business flows, organizational structures, and information systems for effective transformation.

The Blueprint for the Future

In the context of its long-term vision, Lintec regards digital transformation as a crucial element that will determine the company’s success. The LDX 2030 initiative extends beyond mere compliance; it is a strategy formulated to drive substantial organizational improvements across various processes. Emphasizing the importance of its most vital resource—people—Lintec is committed to unlocking human potential through DX. This will allow for the development of innovative products and services that will reinforce its competitive edge while simultaneously contributing to the realization of a sustainable society.
