Discover the Fascinating Seminar Lineup at STEAM Fair 2026

The Laurus International School of Science, headquartered in Minato, Tokyo, is thrilled to announce the seminar details for the highly anticipated STEAM Fair 2026, set to take place on June 13-14. This year’s theme, "Infinity & Beyond - Space & AI," promises to ignite the intellectual curiosity of children with an array of engaging content related to space development and AI-driven creative experiences.

Noteworthy Guest Speakers and Seminars

Over the two-day event, attendees will have the opportunity to hear from distinguished guest speakers covering a broad spectrum of topics, all delivered primarily in English, with some sessions offered in Japanese. Here’s a glimpse into what participants can expect:

  • - Kumi Mabuchi, Co-founder and CEO of Xinobi AI, will address the evolution of learning in the AI era—shifting from memorization to inquiry-based thinking. He will also discuss how parents can support their children's curiosity and exploration at home. This session will be conducted in Japanese.
  • - Tomoko Kunimoto, CEO of Sincere, will explore the implications of learning programming in a world where AI can write code. This session will focus on developing the ability to conceptualize what and why to create, empowering children to work alongside AI. It will also be presented in Japanese.
  • - Scientists from JAMSTEC and experts from various organizations will discuss how satellite technology can track ocean health and algal blooms from space, showcasing the intersection of marine biology and technology.
  • - Other sessions will delve into AI's evolving role in education, robotics in space sustainability, and practical demonstrations in optical communications.

The richness of content will ensure that participants leave with a heightened knowledge of science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics.

Interactive Experiences Await!

Apart from the seminars, the STEAM Fair 2026 will feature several interactive booths where attendees can engage with professionals from leading organizations:
  • - Blue Origin invites children to participate in the "Postcards to Space" initiative, allowing attendees to create postcards that reflect their dreams for the future. These postcards will be launched into space and returned with a special stamp.
  • - Various research institutions, such as the Advanced Institute of Oceanography, will showcase how satellite data monitors ocean changes, contributing to our understanding of marine ecosystems.
  • - Astroscale Holdings will present their efforts in ensuring a safe and sustainable space environment, with presentations on robotics and AI applications.
  • - For a more hands-on experience, visitors can engage in the "Electra Chiropractic Gravity Challenge," exploring the effects of different gravitational forces from various planets in our solar system.
